PC installed in the safe area, HMI installed on-site in the hazardous area—this is the most common principle applied in the process industry. The process control system installed on the server is available on-site. The multifunctional system offers a variety of data transmission options: classic point-to-point connection over KVM box (KVM Classic IP), and with or without KVM box within the network architecture (Thin Client or KVM over IP). Advanced digital data transmission ensures optimal image quality and a variety of configurations.

To save software licensing costs for example, up to 4 remote HMIs can be connected to one KVM box via Ethernet switch, and simultaneously can communicate with multiple PCs – suitable for example for production process control and simultaneous condition monitoring. Multi-monitoring with on-site terminals is as easy to realize as Thin Client server environments with virtual workstations.
Data transmission is realized physically via copper cable, fiber optic or WLAN.

The integrated software ensures maximum data transmission and permanent data flow control; any faults will immediately be identified and visualized.
As standard, all displays (15”/19”) are equipped with touch-screen, soft keyboard and additional function keys for individual assignment.
